DC INPUT:
50-80 VDC with 74 VDC nominal.
EFFICIENCY:
70% minimum or greater.
OUTPUT VOLTAGE LINE REGULATION:
e unit maintains the output voltage within
±2% for normal operating input voltage
range.
OUTPUT VOLTAGE LOAD REGULATION:
The unit maintains the output voltage within
±3% for currents between 1A and 14A.

OUTPUT LOAD CURRENT:
Up to 14A of continuous load current, and
up to 15A of load current at 25% duty cycle
with an “on” time of 30 seconds maximum.
INSULATION RESISTANCE:

and chassis, input and output, and output
and chassis when measured at 82 VDC.
ON/OFF CONTROL:
the unit shall provide a set of contacts for
controlling the operation state of the unit.
The unit shall be fully operational when
presented with a “closed” circuit across the
contacts. The external closed circuit shall
not be required to sink more than 10
Milliamperes DC, and will provide a
resultant voltage not to exceed 0.8 VDC.
The unit shall enter an “Off” state and
provide no output voltage when presented
with an open circuit across the contacts.
Power dissipation by the unit in the off state
shall not exceed 4 watts. The open circuit shall
not be required to handle more than 15 VDC
across the contacts.

SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION:
The unit provides protectuin against overloads
and short-circuits. No damage results from
any overload condition. The unit automatically
returns to full rated operation within three
seconds upon removal of the overload condition.
OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION:
The unit is protected electronically from an
overvoltage condition. Input power to the
unit may need to be removed and re-applied
to resume unit operation.

Less than 20 millivolts, RMS and 60

REMOTE ERROR SENSING:
Regulator monitors the voltage of Output No. 1
Directly at the load using extra “Sensing” leads
and compensates for a DC voltage drop up to 0.3
Volts in the load leads.
INPUT PROTECTION:
External fuse recommended.
VOLTAGE POLARITY:
Accidental reversal of the input voltage
polarity does no damage the unit when the
unit is protected by a 20-Ampere fuse or
circuit breaker at the power source.
OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE:
Operating: -30ºC to +65ºC.
Non-Operating: -30ºC to +80ºC
Relative Humidity: 5-90%, non-condensing.
INSULATION:
The isolation between inout and output (both common mode
and differential), and between the input and the chassis ground
(both common mode and differential) shall be capable of passing
a1075 VAC 60 Hz stress test for one minute. All other plug and
socket connection shall be able to withstand a one minute
dielectric test as a described in section 5.3 of IEC 571-1 using
500V.
